NVRLND LRT Car & Patio

This decommissioned LRT carriage was transformed into a vibrant, accessible public art space and studio. The team rebuilt the access ramp and deck, reconnected electricity, and extended the front deck to create more space for community gatherings, performances, and social activity.

By activating a unique piece of public art as a place for learning, collaboration, and engagement, the project breaks down barriers between art and the public, offering both artists and community members meaningful opportunities to connect, explore, and contribute to Calgary’s cultural life.
