Good Places Project

The Federation of Calgary Communities’ newest initiative, providing a grant program, workshops, and capacity building opportunities to support community-led activation of public spaces in Calgary.

Good Places Project helps Calgarians bring their ideas for public spaces to life. We fund and support projects that make public spaces more welcoming and vibrant through placemaking. Working alongside community groups, we spark creativity, build connections, and provide mentorship to design and deliver projects that enliven spaces and reflect the character of the community.

 

This initiative also includes Good Places HQ, a new community innovation hub near Franklin LRT where volunteers can gather, learn new skills, build projects and collaborate before bringing ideas back to their neighbourhoods.
